HUNGARIAN GOULASH 
2 lb. diced beef
2 tsp. salt
1 onion (egg size)
1 tbsp. paprika (may use 2 if desired)
3 tbsp. sugar
4 tbsp. white vinegar
1 tsp. chili powder
1 qt. tomatoes (chopped) or 1 lg. can

Brown meat, salt and onion until onion is transparent. Add remaining ingredients and simmer gently until meat is tender. Thicken with a flour/water or cornstarch/water paste mix and serve over mashed potatoes, noodles or rice. Even tastier if made the day before serving.
