1 box Betty Crocker yellow cake mix

Bake by box recipe in 9x13 pan, let cool. Punch holes in cake after cooled. Cook 16 oz. can of crushed pineapple, juice and all, along with 1/2 cup sugar. Bring to a boil and pour over cake. Let cool.

Prepare large box of vanilla instant pudding according to directions. Spread on top of cooled cake.

Mix 1/2 cup coconut and 1/2 cup nuts with small container of Cool Whip. Spread over top of pudding.
