BEEF STROGANOFF 
1 lb. top round steak
4 tbsp. butter
1 c. onion, chopped
1 clove garlic
2 tbsp. ketchup
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp. sherry wine
1 can consomme soup

1 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. flour

Slightly brown onion, garlic and butter, remove onion and garlic and roll steak in seasoned flour, brown well and remove from pan. Let cool. Cut meat into strips 2 inches long. Return to pan and add soup, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce and sherry. Cover and let simmer for one hour until tender. Serve over mashed potatoes or noodles.
