BANANA NUT BREAD 
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1 c. chopped nuts
1/2 c. Crisco
4 tbsp. sour milk (add 1/4 tsp. vinegar to milk to make it sour)
1 tbsp. baking soda
1/2 c. bananas, mashed (or 3 med.)

Sift flour, soda, and salt. Cream sugar, Crisco, eggs, and bananas. Add nuts, flour mixture, and sour milk. Bake in 2 loaf pans for 35 minutes at 350 degrees.
