CARAMEL BROWNIES 
German chocolate cake mix
2/3 c. evaporated milk
3/4 stick melted butter
40 caramels
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1/2 c. nuts

Combine cake mix and 1/2 cup milk and butter. Press 1/2 of cake mixture into greased and floured pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Melt caramels with 1/3 cup milk. Remove cake. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and nuts. Spread melted candy on top of cake. Take the other half of the cake mixture and spread on top. Bake for 20 minutes. Let cool and cut into squares.
