PUERTO RICAN LEMON BEER PUNCH 
1 c. sugar
1 c. water
1 c. lemon juice
1 lemon rind, sliced
1/2 c. grapefruit juice
12 oz. light bottled beer

Mix sugar and water in a saucepan. Bring to boiling point. Add lemon rind. Cover and let stand 5 minutes. Remove lemon rinds. Cool syrup. Add fruit juices. Pour in punch bowl over ice. Before serving add beer. Float lemon slices studded with cloves on punch. Serve in punch cups. 6 servings.
