CHOW MEIN (4 SERVINGS) 
1 lb. cubed pork
2 c. diagonally sliced celery (1/2 inch slices)
1 med. onion, sliced
1 (4 oz.) can mushroom stems and pieces, drained
3 tbsp. corn starch
3 tbsp. soy sauce
3 tbsp. Teriyaki sauce
1 (16 oz.) can chow mein rinsed and drained
1 (8 1/2 oz.) water chestnuts, drained and sliced
1/2 tsp. ginger
Optional: 1 tsp. sugar or 1 pkg. Equal

Combine meat, celery, onion and mushrooms in a 2 quart casserole. Cover. Microwave 4 to 6 minutes on high or until meat is set. Dissolve corn starch in soy sauce.

Stir into meat mixture. Mix in chow mein vegetables, water chestnuts, water and ginger. Cover. Microwave 4 to 5 minutes on high or until vegetables are tender crisp. Stir in Teriyaki sauce. Serve with Chinese noodles or rice.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
