CHERRY CHOCOLATE CAKE 
1 pkg. Devils Food cake mix with pudding
1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. almond extract
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. plus 1 tbsp. butter
1/3 c. milk
1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate morsels

Combine first 4 ingredients. Stir well. Pour into greased and floured 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan. Bake at 320 degrees for 30 minutes, set aside to cool. Combine sugar, butter and milk in small pan. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, simmer 1 minute, stirring constantly. Remove pan from heat, stir in chocolate morsels until well blended. Pour over cooled cake.
