OYSTER STEW 
1 pt. oysters
3 c. milk
1 c. canned milk
1/2 stick butter
2 tbsp. water
2 tbsp. flour
2 tsp. salt
Dash of Texas Pete
Hot sauce

In large pot, scald 1/4 stick butter and milk. In smaller pot, simmer oysters in their juice with 1/4 stick butter, flour and water added. Mix flour, water and hot sauce to a smooth paste and blend in with oysters and oyster liquid. As soon as corners of oysters turn, pour in with scalded milk, cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
