JEWISH APPLE CAKE 
3 c. flour
2 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. oil
4 unbeaten eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. orange juice
2 1/2 tsp. vanilla
3 tsp. baking powder
6 thinly sliced apples
2 tsp. cinnamon
5 tbsp. sugar

Mix last 3 ingredients together and set aside. Grease and flour tube pan. Mix until smooth. Layer of batter, then apples, repeat, end with apples on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 3/4 hours.
