QUAKER'S BEST OATMEAL COOKIES | |
1 1/4 c. butter 3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar 2 c. sugar 1 egg 1 tsp. vanilla 1 1/2 c. flour 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 tsp. nutmeg 3 c. Quaker Oats Heat oven to 375 degrees. Beat butter and sugars until fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla. Add flour, baking soda, salt and spices. Mix well. Stir in oats. Drop tablespoon onto ungreased sheet. Bake 8 to 9 minutes for chewy cookies and 10 to 11 minutes for crisp cookie. Let cool for 1 minute. |
