1/2 c. cocoa
1 stick butter
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1 lg. egg
3 c. applesauce
3 tsp. baking soda
3 c. self rising flour
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. pumpkin pie spice
1 c. black walnuts
1 c. raisins; optional

Mix and bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes or until done (when top springs back if touched).
