FRUITED CHICKEN 
1 cut up chicken or parts you prefer
1 bottle red Russian dressing
1 pkg. Lipton's onion soup mix
1/2 jar apricot preserves
1 can chunky fruit cocktail

Take skin off chicken if desired. Mix Russian dressing, Lipton's onion soup mix, and apricot preserves. Pour over chicken parts in roasting dish and let marinate for several hours or overnight. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for approximately 1 hour, basting occasionally.

Drain syrup from fruit cocktail and pour fruit over chicken last 10 minutes of baking. Serve with rice and vegetables. This dish freezes well and is delicious when reheated.
