LEMON BREAD 
6 tbsp. butter
1 1/4 c. sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1/4 tsp. orange extract
1/8 tsp. lemon flavoring
Grated rind of 1 lemon
1/2 c. milk
1 1/2 c. and 1 tbsp. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/3 tsp. salt
4 shakes of cloves

GLAZE:

1/4 c. sugar
Juice from 1 lemon

Beat eggs with flavoring and lemon rind. Cream butter and sugar, then add egg mixture. Sift in flour, baking powder, salt, cloves and mix. Beat a minute or two. Add milk and mix. Pour in greased pan and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.

Let cool in pan for 5 to 7 minutes. Make glaze of lemon juice and sugar, pour slowly over loaf while still in pan. Leave bread in pan until lemon is absorbed. Cool and wrap in foil.
