MEXICAN BEEF PIE 
Pastry for 9 inch 2 crust pie
2 tbsp. vegetable oil
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1 lb. ground beef
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ground pepper
1 tbsp. chili powder
1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce
1/2 c. sliced stuffed olives

Line pie plate with 1/2 of pastry. Heat oil in skillet, saute onion and green pepper 5 minutes. Add beef and brown. Add seasonings and tomato sauce. Cook over low heat 15 minutes. Cool. Add olives and turn into pastry.

Roll remaining pastry, cut into strips and arrange over meat in lattice pattern. Bake at 400 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes, until pastry is browned.
