CHICKEN VEGETABLE CHOWDER 
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped broccoli
3 med. stalks celery, thinly sliced (about 2 c.)
1 med. onion, chopped (about 1/2 c.)
2 c. water
1 tsp. salt
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed chicken broth or 1 1/4 c. chicken broth
1 c. cold milk
1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 1/2 c. cut-up cooked chicken
1 c. milk
6 oz. Swiss cheese, cut into cubes (about 1 1/2 c.)

Rinse broccoli under running cold water to separate. Drain. Heat broccoli, celery, onion, water, salt and broth to boiling in Dutch oven; reduce heat. Cover and simmer 10 minutes.

Shake 1 cup cold milk and the flour in tightly covered container; gradually stir into hot mixture. Heat to boiling. Boil and stir 1 minute. Stir in chicken and 1 cup milk. Heat over low heat, stirring occasionally, just until hot, about 10 minutes. Stir in cheese; let stand just until cheese is melted, 3-5 minutes. Stir. Yield: 8 servings.
