MEXICAN CORN BREAD 
1 lb. hamburger meat
1 med. onion, chopped
1 c. cornmeal
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 can cream style corn
2 beaten eggs
1 c. milk
1/4 c. melted butter
2 jalapeno peppers or your choice
2 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded
Touch of picante sauce, if desired

Cook hamburger meat and onion and jalapeno pepper together. Salt and pepper to taste.

Meanwhile, mix cornmeal, 2 beaten eggs, 1 teaspoon salt and soda and milk. Then add the cream style corn into cornmeal mix. Stir. Add melted butter to mix. Pour half of cornmeal mix into a skillet, then add meat mixture. Then add grated cheese, then add rest of cornmeal mix. Bake 45 minutes at 375 degrees.
