1 stick butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 c. milk
Fruit (peaches are great)

Melt butter in a small cake pan. Mix sugar, flour, baking powder together. Add milk. Mix. Pour over butter and add fruit. Sprinkle with 3/4 cup or less sugar depending on the sweetness of the fruit. Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees.

NOTE: If you double this recipe it will fit a 9 x 13-inch pan.
