2 or 2 1/2 (1 lb.) loaves of Pepperidge Farm sandwich bread 1 lb. butter, softened 4 (5 oz.) jars Kraft Old English cheese 1 tsp. Tabasco 1 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce Dash of pepper 1 tsp. onion powder 1 1/2 tsp. dill weed 1 tsp. Beau Monde seasoning - made by Spice Island Mix well. Trim crusts from bread. Spread fairly thin on slices of bread and put together sandwich style. Cut each sandwich into 9 squares. Frost each square with cheese mixture - all sides except bottom of square. Freeze on cookie sheet. When frozen put in ziploc bag and return to freeze. DO NOT THAW BEFORE BAKING. Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 15 minutes. Makes about 130 piece.s Whole wheat bread may be used and a combination of wheat and white. |
