JAPANESE SALAD 
1/2 head cabbage, shredded
3 green onions, chopped
2 tbsp. sesame seeds
2 tbsp. sliced almonds
1 pkg. dry ramen noodles

Place sesame seeds and almonds in a tin pie plate and toast in oven at 250 degrees until slightly browned (about 10 minutes). Mix them in a salad bowl with the cabbage and green onions. Break the dry ramen noodles onto top of salad.

DRESSING:

2 tbsp. sugar
1/4 c. sesame oil
1/4 c. salad oil
1/2 seasoning packet from ramen
3 tbsp. rice vinegar
1/2 tsp. pepper

Mix dressing ingredients well. One half hour before you serve the salad, add dressing to salad and toss it together. Chill until serving time.
