1 1/2 lbs. ground beef 3/4 c. uncooked oats 1 c. evaporated milk 3 tbsp. chopped onion 1 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 3 tbsp. vinegar 1 tbsp. catsup 2 tbsp. sugar 1/2 tbsp. water 6 tbsp. chopped onion Mix the beef, oats, evaporated milk, onion, salt and pepper. When the milk is absorbed, wet tips of fingers and shape into balls. Fry slowly in oil for 10 minutes or until brown. Meanwhile, mix the Worcestershire sauce, vinegar, sugar, catsup, water and onion and add to the skillet for 10-20 minutes longer. |
