SCHOOL MADE ROLLS | |
1/2 c. lukewarm water 1 pkg. yeast 1/2 c. milk 1/2 c. shortening 2 tbsp. sugar 2 c. self-rising flour Dissolve yeast in water. Heat milk to lukewarm. In this, melt shortening; dissolve sugar in milk. Add this to 2 cups of flour or enough to roll. Make rolls and let set 15 minutes. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. Makes 28 rolls. |
