CARAMEL CAKE 
1 box Duncan Hines butter cake mix

Go by recipe on cake mix box. Cook at 375°F until light brown. Let cool.

Filling:

2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. white Karo
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
pinch of salt
1 c. whipping cream

Put sugar in large boiler over heat and stir constantly until it turns light brown. Boil slowly until it will form a ball when dropped in cold water. Take it off stove and start beating with electric beater. Beat it a good bit or until it is creamy. Time to stack and eat.
