TURTLE CAKE 
1 box German chocolate cake mix (not Pillsbury)
1 c. water
1/2 c. oil
1 stick butter
3 eggs

Mix all cake ingredients and pour 1/2 of batter into 9 x 13 inch greased and floured pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 15-20 minutes. Melt the caramels with the Eagle Brand sweetened milk and add pecans, be sure the caramels are thoroughly melted.

FILLING:

1 pkg. Kraft caramels
1/2 can Eagle Brand milk
1/2 c. chopped pecans (if desired)
1/2 c. chocolate chips (if desired)
