1 c. shortening (Crisco)
1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. peanut butter
3 c. flour (self-rising)

Mix all the above ingredients together except the flour; mix well. Add flour; mix will be very thick. Roll into little balls with hands and place on cookie sheet; then press with fork. Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes. Let cookies cool before taken up.
