Jello - 1 pkg. red Jello - 1 pkg. yellow Jello - 1 pkg. green Jello - 1 pkg. orange 6 oz. sour cream 1 c. sugar 2 pkg. unflavored gelatin 2 c. boiled milk 1 tbsp. vanilla Mixing all done by hand don't use mixer. Note: Very important not to cool milk. Use boiling or gelatin mixture will not dissolve or set up. In a 13 x 9 inch pan, you will be alternating layers of cream mixture and colored Jello. In a bowl dissolve 1 package Jello with 1 cup boiling water. Add 1/2 cup cold. Stir and pour into 13 x 9 inch pan. Chill until set. In another bowl mix sour cream and sugar together. Set aside. In a cup put 1/2 cup cold water and 2 package unflavored Jello. When it thickens about 5 minutes add to sour cream mixture. Boil 2 cups milk do not cool. Add immediately to sour cream mixture. Mix thoroughly, set aside (do not refrigerate mixture). Now add about 1 1/2 cups cream mixture to top of set Jello. Chill this layer. When chilled add next colored Jello to next layer. Chill and keep alternately Jello and cream mixture. When done, chill for 3 hours or until completely firm. |
