ALMOND BARS 
CRUST:

1 c. butter (don't substitute)
1/2 c. powdered sugar
2 c. flour

FILLING:

1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/2 c. granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. almond extract

FROSTING:

1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 1/2 tbsp. milk
1/4 c. butter
1 tsp. almond extract
Sliced almonds

CRUST: Mix butter, powdered sugar and flour and pat evenly into a 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes.

FILLING: Mix cream cheese, eggs, sugar and almond extract. Pour over crust while still hot. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes. Cool.

FROSTING: Mix powdered sugar, milk, butter and almond extract and spread evenly over bars. Sprinkle sliced almonds on top.
