EXTRA SMOOTH CARNATION CUSTARD 
4 eggs
1/3 c. granulated sugar
1 2/3 c. (lg. can) Carnation evaporated milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt

Beat eggs with sugar, salt and vanilla. Add large can of evaporated milk. Pour into 1 deep dish pie shell and bake in oven at 425 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes, then lower temperature to 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Sprinkle top with nutmeg.
