3 eggs 2 tsp. anise seed or a few drops of anise oil 1 1/2 c. flour or enough to make it stiff enough to drop from spoon Beat eggs and sugar until very light, about 20 minutes. Add anise seed or oil. Add flour enough to make stiff enough to drop from spoon. Drop in teaspoonfuls on greased tin. Let stand for 3 hours or overnight. Bake in moderate oven. Sugar should come out and look like frosting. (This is said to be the work of fairies!) |
