OUT OF THIS WORLD CANDY | |
2 cubes butter 2 (1 lb.) boxes powdered sugar 1 can sweetened condensed milk 2 c. flaked coconut 2 c. nuts, chopped fine 3/4 stick paraffin, melted 3 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips, melted Melt butter, mix in remaining ingredients to the paraffin. Roll into small balls about the size of a quarter. Place on waxed paper, chill for about 1 hour. Combine paraffin and chocolate chips. Place over low heat, dip balls with a toothpick into mixture. Place on waxed paper to cool. Candy will keep well in refrigerator and freezes without harm to texture. Yield: 3 to 4 pounds. |
