CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES (MINT) 
10 oz. mint chocolate chips
1 1/4 c. flour
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. (each) salt, vanilla
1/2 c. (each) butter, brown sugar, white sugar
1 egg
3/4 c. coarsely chopped pecans

Melt 1/2 cup chips and cool; set aside. Combine butter, sugars and vanilla; add egg and mix; add chocolate. Mix flour, baking soda and salt, then add. Stir in remaining chips and nuts. Drop by rounded teaspoonful onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 375 degrees for 8 to 9 minutes. Allow to stand 2 to 3 minutes before removing from sheets; cool completely on wire rack; makes about 50.
