ORANGE COOKIES WITH ORANGE
FROSTING
 
Electric mixer:

1 c. Crisco
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. orange juice

Add by hand:

1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. sour milk
1 tsp. baking soda
4 1/2 c. flour

Make it by 1 tablespoon vinegar to 1 cup milk; let set 5 minutes.

Mix well. Drop by teaspoon on cookie sheet. Don't grease. Bake 350, 12 minutes or light brown. When cold ice them.

FROSTING:

1/3 c. butter
3 1/2 c. powdered sugar
Dash salt
2 egg yolks
2 tbsp. orange juice

Mix until creamy. Add more juice if you need. Put on cookies.
