ORANGE FROSTED COOKIES 
3 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
3 eggs
Grated rind from 1 orange
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. sugar
4 tbsp. orange juice
1 c. buttermilk

Sift together dry ingredients. Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs, juice and rind. Alternately add dry ingredients and buttermilk. Drop from teaspoon on cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees until golden brown. Approximately 8 minutes. Spread with frosting when cool. (See Orange Cookie Frosting.)
