AUNT BILL'S BROWN CANDY | |
6 c. sugar 2 c. white Karo syrup 1 sm. can evaporated milk 1 lg. can evaporated milk 1/2 lb. butter 1 c. chopped nuts (pecans) 1 tsp. vanilla Mix all together, except pecans, and cook over medium heat until forms medium ball in water (240 to 244 degrees) or a hair past soft ball. Beat until stiff. Fold in pecans and vanilla. Pour in buttered 9 x 13 inch pan. |
