APPLETS 
1 c. cold applesauce
4 c. sugar
4 envelopes Knox gelatin
1 1/3 c. applesauce
1 lemon, juice and grated rind
1 orange, juice and grated rind

Dissolve gelatin in 1 cup applesauce. Bring to boil 1 1/3 cup applesauce and sugar. Add gelatin that has been dissolved in applesauce. Stir constantly for 15 minutes. Add lemon juice, orange juice, rinds and nuts. Color, if desired. Pour into 2 flat dishes. Let stand overnight. Cut into squares and roll in powdered sugar. Better if made a week or two before it is eaten.
