BUTTER ROLL
Biscuit dough
Milk, approximately 2 cups
Sugar, approximately 1 1/2 cups
Vanilla, approximately 1 tsp.
Butter, approximately 1/4 cup
Cinnamon (optional)

Make your favorite biscuit dough. Pinch off 1/2 of dough and roll out to about thickness of pie crust. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon and dot with butter. Roll up like a jelly roll. Cut into 1 1/2 inch thickness and place side down in a greased baking dish. Repeat procedure with remainder of dough. Add vanilla to milk and pour this mixture over butter rolls. Bake in hot oven 400 to 450 degrees, until brown. If butter roll becomes dry during cooking, add more milk.
