NANCY'S RAISIN SQUARES 
2 c. water
2 c. raisins
2/3 c. brown sugar
2/3 c. white sugar
3 tbsp. cornstarch
1/8 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
3 tbsp. lemon juice

Bring 2 cups of water to a boil, add raisins and cook until plump (5 minutes). Remove from heat.

Mix sugar, cornstarch and salt. Add to cooked raisins.

Heat and cook stirring constantly over moderate heat until the mixture comes to a boil and the sauce thickens. Reduce heat and cook for one minute. Remove from heat. Add cinnamon and lemon juice, cool and spread on dough in cookie sheet. Cover with dough and bake 30 minutes at 375 degrees in oven.
