GRANDMOTHER'S COBBLER PIE | |
1 stick butter 1 c. flour 1 c. sugar Pinch of salt 2/3 c. milk 2 tsp. baking powder 2 1/2 c. fruit & juice Melt 1 stick of butter in baking dish. In bowl, mix flour, sugar, salt and milk. (I use self-rising flour.) Pour batter mixture into baking dish and add the fruit on top (with juice) on top of the batter. The batter rises to the top as pie cooks. Bake at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes, not over 45 minutes. |
