ORANGE SLICE CAKE 
1 c. oil
4 c. sugar
4 c. flour
3/4 to 1 c. buttermilk
2 c. chopped nuts
1 lb. orange slice candy, cut up
1 tsp. baking soda
1 (8 oz.) dates, cut up
1 sm. can coconut

Cream oil and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time. Add flour, milk, and soda alternately. Dust nuts and dates in 1/2 cup flour. Add to the batter. Put orange slice candy and coconut last. Bake in bundt pan 2 1/2 hours at 250 degrees.

When still hot, add 2 cups powdered sugar and 1 cup orange juice. Leave in pan until cool.
