CORN BREAD STICKS | |
1 egg 1 c. milk 1 tbsp. shortening, melted 2 c. self-rising corn meal mix Beat egg. Add milk and melted shortening. Add this to corn meal and beat well. Bake in hot greased pan in the shape of bread sticks or ears of corn. Put in hot oven (400°F) and bake for 15 to 20 minutes. Makes about 12 sticks. |
