EGG BREAD FOR MUFFINS, CORN
STICKS, OR BREAD
 
1 egg
1 1/4 c milk
1/4 c melted shortening
2 c self rising corn meal
1 tsp sugar

Heat oven to 450°F. Grease and heat pan. Beat egg and add milk and shortening. Blend in meal and sugar. Pour into hot greased pan.

Bake for 15 to 20 minutes.

Makes about 14 muffins, 18 sticks or 1 medium size skillet of bread.
