ITALIAN SAUSAGE QUICHE | |
Pastry for 10 inch shell 1 lb. sausage, thinly sliced 1 lb. mushrooms, sliced 8 oz. shredded Swiss or Gruyere cheese 4 eggs, beaten 1 c. whipping cream 1/4 tsp. salt 1 c. chopped onions Cook sausage until browned. Drain, reserving 2 tablespoons drippings in pan. Saute mushrooms and onions until tender. Drain off drippings. Combine sausage, mushrooms, onions, cheese, eggs, cream, cheese, and salt; mix well. Pour into pastry shell. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until set. |
