MICROWAVE BROWNIES 
1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. milk
2/3 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
6 tbsp. cocoa
2 lg. eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Place butter and cocoa in 8 x 8 inch dish. Microwave, uncovered, at high power until butter is melted, 1 to 1 1/2 minutes. Add sugar and stir well. Add remaining ingredients; mix well. Shield 4 corners of dish with foil triangles. Microwave, uncovered, at high power until top is no longer wet, 5 to 6 minutes; rotate dish 1/2 turn after 3 minutes. Place dish directly on heat-proof counter; let stand 10 minutes to complete cooking. Cut brownies into 2 inch squares.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
