BLACK BOTTOM ICE CREAM PIE 
CRUMB CRUST:

1 1/4 c. crushed vanilla wafers
1/3 c. melted butter

Mix together, grease 9 inch pie pan and then pack crumbs on bottom and sides of pan. Chill.

CHOCOLATE LAYER:

2 squares unsweetened chocolate
6 tbsp. water
1/2 c. sugar
3 tbsp. butter
1/4 tsp. vanilla

Combine in double boiler and cook until well blended, stirring often. Pour sauce into chilled vanilla wafer crust. Freeze.

ICE CREAM LAYER:

1 qt. vanilla ice cream, softened

When chocolate layer is firm, then fill pie with ice cream.

TOPPING:

5 sm. Heath toffee bars, chopped

Freeze.
