CHEESE CRISPS 
1 c. butter
2 c. grated sharp cheese, about 8 oz.
2 c. sifted self rising flour
2 c. Rice Krispies
1/4 tsp. red pepper

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Mix all ingredients well. Form into small balls and place on cookie sheet. Press down with floured fork in crisscross pattern. Bake 20 minutes. Remove from baking sheet and cool on wire rack. Makes about 8-9 dozen.
