BAKED CLAMS 
12 clam shells
1 c. bread crumbs
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1 sm. onion, chopped
2 (6 1/2 oz.) cans of minced clams
3 tbsp. parsley flakes
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 lb. bacon, cooked and crumbled

Bacon drippings, clam juice, salt and pepper. Saute onion, set aside. Mix crumbs, parsley, galric, salt and pepper. Add clam juice, lemon juice and onion. Mix together. Put minced clams in clam shells, cover with crumb mixture. Sprinkle with drippings. Bake 500 degree oven for 5 to 7 minutes. Remove from oven put on bacon pieces. Broil until top is brown about 1 minute.
