FLUFFY WHITE FROSTING 
5 egg whites
1 1/2 c. sugar
Pinch of cream of tartar
1/2 c. water
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix sugar with water in saucepan. Cook over high heat until soft balls form when dropped in ice water. Add cream of tartar to egg whites. Beat until stiff peaks form. Very slowly add sugar mixture while beating.

VARIETY: Use with coconut for topping Red Velvet Cake.
