FANNY FARMER FUDGE 
4 1/2 c. sugar
2 sticks butter (1/2 lb.)
1 tall can (15 oz.) evaporated milk
1 tsp. salt
1 (8 oz.) jar marshmallow creme
3 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1 lb. nuts
1 tsp. vanilla

1. Mix together sugar, butter, milk and salt.

2. Bring to boil and boil 9 minutes, stirring occasionally.

3. Remove from stove and quickly add chocolate chips, stirring until chocolate is melted.

4. Add marshmallow creme and nuts.

5. Add vanilla.

6. Mix well and pour into buttered pan. 11 x 7 inches or more. This mixture sets quickly.

This uses a 13×9-inch pan, it will overflow a 7×11-inch. My Dad's favorite fudge, he even made it during Christmas.
