AMISH SLAW 
1 med. cabbage
2 med. onions
1 c. sugar
2-3 sm. stalks celery, chopped

DRESSING:

1 c. vinegar
1/2 c. oil
1/4 c. water
1 tsp. mustard
1 tsp. celery seed
1 tsp. salt

Shred cabbage, onion and celery. Add sugar. Mix and let stand while making dressing.

Boil dressing ingredients 3 minutes. Add to cabbage mixture and refrigerate overnight. Since the vinegar pickles the cabbage, slaw won't spoil if refrigerated.
