APRICOT BARS 
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 c. old fashioned rolled oats
3/4 c. butter
3/4 c. apricot preserves

Mix flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir in rolled oats and sugar. Cut in butter until crumbly. Pat 2/3 of the crumbly mixture into a 11 x 7 x 1 1/2 inch pan. Spread on apricot preserves. Cover with remaining crumb mixture. Bake at 375 degrees or 35 minutes or until browned. Cool; cut into 3 x 1 inch bars.
